  • Boot into TWRP.

  • Install vendor.img with TWRP installation tool.

  • Restore restore and perform a complete cleanup (Make sure to back up any important data).

  • Install your Marshmallow ROM.

  • Restart and enjoy!


It is essential that you have the installation file from the appropriate vendor and cleaned up everything when returning to Marshmallow from Nougat. If you do not do so, you will face the risk of damaging your device permanently.
