How to return to iOS 10 without loss of data after installing iOS 11

After iOS 11 experience, users can return to iOS 10 if want to operate more stable.

Some points to note

  • You can only downgrade to iOS 10.3.1 and iOS 10.3.2 as all lower iOS versions are locked by Apple.

  • Back up your important information on iCloud or iTunes before proceeding with the downgrade process.

1 , First you need to download the filmware that suits your iOS device here .

For example: - filmware iOS 10.3.1 of iPhone 6 is

"IPhone_4.7_10.3.1_14E304_Restore.ipsw"

Note : If you download the iOS firmware file on Safari, make sure that the auto-decompression feature is disabled or using other browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, etc.

2 , Next, connect your iOS device to your PC via Lightning connection cable.

3 , Launch the iTunes software and open your device management tab.



4 , Hold down the Alt / Option on the Mac or Shift on Windows on your keyboard and click on the Update.

Note: If you directly click on Update without holding down the Alt / Option button on a Mac or Shift on Windows, your device will be brought back to the latest version of iOS (if available).

5 , Choose the movie file iOS 10.2.1 or 10.3 that you downloaded earlier.

6 , then select Update to continue.

7 , Now, iTunes will check and install the software on your device. You will take about 10 minutes

8 , after completing the downgrade of IOS 10.2.1 (or update to iOS 10.3) on your device will display 'Hello' white. All data on your iOS device will be retained after the downgrading process is complete.
