Install watchOS 4 Beta on Apple Watch without Developer Account

Currently, watchOS 4 beta is available for only developers. Hence, you will be able to download it only if you have a developer account. But what if you don't have dev account? No problem! There is a way you can download watchOS 4 beta even without the developer account.

Once you have a watchOS beta configuration profile on your radar, it becomes a lot straightforward to go through the further process. Luckily, it's not a difficult task to find the beta profile as it's available at quite a few places. Anyway, let's head over to get started with the latest watchOS version!

 

How to Download and Install watchOS 4 Beta without Developer Account


Make sure:

  • Your iPhone must be running iOS 11 beta.

  • Make sure to connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi network.

  • Your smartwatch must have at least 50% battery life.

  • Your watch needs to be on a charger to complete the update process without any hurdle.


How to Install watchOS 4 Beta Configuration Profile on Apple Watch


Step #1. First off, open Safari on your paired iPhone. Then, head over to https://beta.applebetas.co/ and download watchOS 4 beta.



 

Step #2. It would ask your permission to go ahead with the process. Tap on Allow in the popup.

Step #3. Now, you would be asked on which device would you like to install this profile? You have to select Apple Watch.

Step #4. Tap on Install at the top right corner and then enter the passcode.

Step #5. Tap on Install at the top right. Then, tap on Install at the bottom to confirm.

Step #6. Tap on Restart in the popup.

Once the beta profile has been installed, tap on Done at the top right corner on your iPhone.

Step #1. Starting off, you have to launch Watch app on your iPhone.

Step #2. Tap on General → Software Update.

Step #3. Next up, tap on Download & Install. Next, you have to enter your iPhone passcode. Also, Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
